Not many people can say that they are not exposed to some level of stress during their daily routine. Perhaps some more than others but it does not matter it has an effect on everyone.
It is important as part of a healthy lifestyle to find ways to combat stress to reduce the damage that it can do. A great way for a woman to be able to get away from it all is to have a stress buster home beauty day.
Many will say that they have tried to do this in the past and it does not seem to work. That is possibly because the right plans were not made on how to go about it. First, you do not want any distractions so send hubby and the kids out for the day. Turn your cell phone off and start early enough in the day to get set up for all the wonderful things that you are about to experience.
Probably the first hour is not going to seem that enjoyable to you because you need to work a bit to gather up your supplies for your stress buster home beauty day. As the day, progresses you going to find your tension is becoming less and less and you are starting to relax more.
The next thing you want to do is your pedicure and you want to do it before your manicure because you do not want to ruin the polish that you are going to apply to your fingernails. Make sure that you use something in your foot soak that is soothing to give you a relaxed feeling. Most often, anything that contains peppermint will give this effect. Once again, make sure that you have some pleasant music you can listen to when you are soaking. You could even read a book at this time if you desire to do so. The important part about a pedicure is that you do not become bored and you get the full enjoyment and benefits of it.
When you do your manicure try to give yourself a hot paraffin treatment or hot oil hand treatment as well. This will go a long way relaxing you and the added benefits of what it will do for your skin is not something you want to miss.
You can continue on your day doing many other things to pamper yourself. For example, you might want to give your hair an oil treatment or you may want to give yourself a new coloring. Do not forget to take some time out to get yourself a nice long nap with no disturbances.
